CC RESOLUTION 444RESOLUTION NO. 444 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL nh THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING RESOLUTIONi NO. 389 OF SAD) CITY, ENTITLE,: "A RESOLUTION OF TIT CITY COUNCIL OF T11E CITY OF -EL =,UNDO, CALIFORNIA, ',=IN-, AND ESTA`LISHIN�' THE COMPENSATION OR PAY OF VA'.IOUS MUNICIPAL OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF SAID CITY,AND REPEALING ALL RESOLUTIONS AND ORDERS AND PARTS OF RESOLUTIONS AND ORD-rCRS IN CONFLICT THEREWITH ", BY AMENDING SUBDIVISION 6 0 SECTION 1 THEREOF RELATIN'a TO THE POLICE DEPARTMENT. The City Council of the City of El Segundo, California, does hereby resolve, declare and determine as follows: SECTION 1. That Subdivision 6 of Section 1 of Resolution No. 389, entitled: "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OP EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, FIXING AND ESTABLISHING THE COMPENSATION OR PAY OF VARIOUS MUNICIPAL OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF SAID CITY,AND REPEALING ALL RESOLUTIONS AND ORDX?S AND PARTS OF RESOLD ^IONS AND ORDERS IN CONFLICT THEREINITH. ", passed and adopted on the 28th day of July, A. D., 19370 be and the same is hereby amended so as to read as follows: " Subdivision 6. POLICE DEPARTMENT: A. The Chief of Police shall receive, as such, the sum of ,x;100.00 per month. B. The Captain of the Police shall receive the sum of X185.00 per month. C. A lieutenant of the police shall receive the sum of :'180.00 per month. 1- D. Traffic Officers, First Class, shall receive the sum of X175.00 per month each; Traffic Officers, Second Class, shall receive the sum of ,8.15 per day each, for each day of service. E. Police Officers of the First Class shall receive the sum of $159.00 per month each. F. kolice Officers of the Second Class shall re- ceive the sum of , :153.00 per month each. G. Police Officers of the Third Class shall re- ceive the sum of t1�7.40 per day each, for each day of service. H. Police Officers of the Fourth Class shall re- ceive the sum of X138.00 per month. I. Police Officers of the Fifth Class shall receive the sum of ;130.00 per month. J. Police Officers of the Sixth Class shall receive the sum of '7.00 per day each, for each day of service. K. Police Officers of the Seventh Class shall receive the sum of 79� per hour each, for each hour of service. L. The Police 1,1atron shall receive the sum of 70� per hour with a minimum of 41.00 per call." SECTION 2. That said Resolution No. 389 is hereby amended as hereinabove in Section 1 of this resolution set forth. SECTION 3. That this resolution shall take effect and be in full force and virtue on and after the 5th day of January, 1938. SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passa_e and adoption of this resolution; shall cause the original of the same to be entered in the book of 2- ?)"4111 resolutions of the said City of '31 Segundo, and shall make a minute of the passa;_e and adoption thereof in the records of the proceedings of the City Council of said City, in the minutes of the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted.
