California, d ee s resolve, declare and determine as follows:
SECTION I. That the application of RICHFIELD OIL
COPl'ChATICN, dated the 7th day of December, 1937, for a
permit to install and maintain the followinE pipe line,
within the City of �l SeZundo, California, to -wit:
One 10" line in Franklin Avenue beinnin
on the E. P. r, of OreEon St. 5I South of
Center Line of rranklin; thence Westerly,
parallel to said Center Line to the ,. P. L.
of Center St.,
be, and the same is hereby ordered placed on file in the
office of the City Clerk of saiu City for the purposes of
identification and reference.
SECTION 2. That the permit applied for in said
application hereinabove referred to in Section 1 of :.his
resolution, shall be and the same is hereby authorized and
-ranted subject to each a nd all of the terms, conditions
and provisions of Resolution No. 427 of said City, entitled:

contained in Section 5 of said resolution No. 427.
Si M ON 3. That the said application herein -
above referred to in Section 1 of this resolution_, on
file as aforesaid, and the said resolution 2To. 427, which
is also on file in the office of the City Clerk of said
City, are hereby referred to and by this reference expressly
incorporated herein and made a part hereof.
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall issue to
the said Richfield Oil Corporation, a certified cony of
this resolution, and such certified cony so issued to
such permittee, shall be and constitute the permit herein
authorized and Lrranted.
S__C`l'ION 5. That as provided in Section 8 of
saic resolution No. 427, the permit herein Sranted is
temporary only, and shall be revocable at any time by
the City Council of said City without notice, without
cause and without liability, and must be accepted by the
said permittee accordinSly.
SECTION 6. The said permit shall not become
effective until the same is accepted by the said permittee.
Said acceptance must be in writin.- and may be in the form
of a letter zi .-ned by such permittee, and filed with the
City Clerk, e videncin,; such acceptance.
S',CT10N 7. That the City Clerk shall certify to
the passaje and adoption of this resolution; shall cause
the same to be entered in the book of resolutions of said
City and shall make a minute of the passal-e and adoption
thereof in the records of the proceedings of the City
Council of said City in the minutes of the meetinS at
which the same is passed and adopted.
