substances, and also to install and operate the necessary
drilling equipment therein for the purpose of drilling a
well for oil, gas or other hydrocarbon substances, and
also to install and operate the necessary machinery and
equipment for operating the said well.

subject to all of the terms and conditions, requirements
and regulations set forth in the followinF, four of permit
issued to the said licensee. The said form of permit is

INC., under date of November 10, 1937, by the legislative
body of the City of 21 ,Segundo, County of Los Angeles,
State of California, was granted permission to erect one
derrick for the purpose of drilling for oil, gas and /or
other hydrocarbon substances, and also to install and
operate the necessary drilling equipment therein for the
purpose of drilling a well for oil, pas or other hydro-
carbon substamces, and also to install and operate the
necess ry machinery and equipment for operatinm the said

and every one of which must be observed and performed
promptly by the licensee (whenever the same become arpli-
cable) in order to keep this permit in full and continuing
force and of ect.
Said terms and conditions are as follows:
First: maid derrick and its appurtenant structures
shall be erected on the follovrinm described real property
located in the City of I]l Segundo, County of Los Angeles,
State of California, to -wit:

107 of I6aps, Records of Los Angeles County,
California. Said well to be located 380
