That Item 2 of the bid of Ira E. Escobar, dated September 26, 1934, which sand 'Council determines to be as follows, to - net: "Item No. 2. That the City Clerk shall prepare copies of this resolution, after the passage and adoption thereof, and shall affix to such copies at the end_ thereof, after the Clerk's certificate, forms for the approval of the successful bidder, and on the part of said City, and such copies of this Resolution, so approved and accepted by the successful bidder and by and on behalf of said City, shall constitute the contract for furnishin- to said City the said automobile for the use of the Police Department, and for said used automobile nov, ovmed by said City, bid upon, pursuant Lo the award hereinaoove made, and the i:ayor of the City of it Segundo is hereb- authorized on behalf of said City, to affix the approval and acceptance of said Jit,y to such contract, and said City Clerk is hereby authorized and_ instructed to attest the same on behalf of said City and to affix the seal of said City thereto.
