CC RESOLUTION 302I `J RESOLUTION NO. 302. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, NAMING AND DESIGNATING AS DOUGLAS AVENUE A CERTAIN PORTION OF A CERTAIN EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC STREET PURPOSES GRANTED TO SAID CITY BY SANTA FE LAND IMPROIENENT COMPANY, A CORPORATION. WHEFSA39 the City of El Segundo, California, by grant of easement made to said City by Santa Fe Land Improvement Company, has just acquired an easement for public street, road and highway purposes, in, over, upon, across and along the parcel of real property within said City hereinafter described; AND, WHEREAS, it is desirable that said ease- went and the parcel of real property covered thereby should receive a name as a public street; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Counoil of the City of E1 Segundo, California, does hereby resolve, declare and determine as follows: SECTION 1. That all of that certain parcel of real property located in the City of E1 Segundo, County of Los Angeles, State of California, included within the following described exterior boundary line, to -wit: Beginning at a point in a line 60.0 feet, measured at right angles, westerly from the westerly line of that parcel of land described in Parcel I of Deed, dated March 21, 1930, re- corded in Book 9778, Page 354, Official Records of Los Angeles County and on file in the office of the County Recorder of said County, and 983.0 feet southerly from the northerly line of Section 79 Townehip 3 South, Range 14 West, S. B. B. & M. as said section is shown on Map recorded in Book 70, Page 97, Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, recorded and on file as aforesaid; thence South 890 47' West a distance of 1165.60 feet to a point; thence North 00, 12' best, a distance of 60.0 feet to a point; thence North 890, 47' East, a distance of 1165.60 feet to a point; thence South- erly in a straight line to a point of beginning. 1- and an easement in, over, upon and across which, for public street, road and highway purposes, has just been granted said City, shall be and the same is hereby named as "Douglas Avenue" and the said parcel of real property, until the further order of the City Council of said City, shall be named, designated and known as Douglas Avenue. SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution; shall cause the same to be entered in the book of resolutions of said City, and shall make a minute of the adoption thereof in the records of the City Council of said City in the minutes of the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted; and shall cause a certified copy of this resolution to be transmitted to the office of the County Surveyor of Los Angeles County, California, for the info nnation and use of said office. California, do hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of the said City is five; that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 302, was passed and adopted by the said City Council, approved and signed by the Mayor of said City, and attested by the City Clerk of said City, all at a regular meeting of the said Council held on the 21st day of February, 1934, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmen Gerow, Hesser, Love, Selby and Mayor Binder; Noes: Councilmen None.
