A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING
MD CONA}IRMING THE ASSESSMENT AS MODIFIED
AND AS FILED BY THE STREET SUPERINTENDENT
PURSTTANT TO INSTRUCTIONS OF SAID CITY COUNCIL
GIVEN IN RESOLUTION NO. 259 OF SAID CITY
ENTITLED: "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, AMEND-
ING, ALTERING, MODIFYING AND CORRECTING THE
ASSESSMENT FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF CERTAIN
PORTIONS OF IMEE RIAL HIGHWAY ( FORMERLY KNOWN
AS COLLINGWOOD STREET), A PUBLIC HIGHYVAY
WITHIN THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO AND GIITHIN THE
CITY OF LOS ANGELUS AS DESCRIBED IN RESOLUTION
OF INTENTION NO. 243 PASSED AND ADOPTED ON
THE 13TH DAY OF AUGUST, A. D., 1931.
41HEREAS, the City Council of the City of El Segundo,
California, did, in Resolution No. 259 of said City, entitled:
"A Resolution of the City Council of the City of E1 Segundo,
California, amending, a1 tering, modifying anal correcting the
Assessment for the Improvement of certain Portions of Imperial
Highway (formerly known as Collingwood Street) a public
Highway within the City of El Segundo and within the City
of Los Angeles as described in Resolution of Intention No.
243 passed and adopted on the 13th day of August, A. D., 193111,
alter, correct and modify the assessment for the improvement
of certain portions of Imperial Highway (formerly known as
Collingwood Street), a public highway within the City of El
Segundo, and within the City of Los Angeles, as described in
Resolution of Intention No. 243 of said Council, passed,
approved end adopted on the 13th day of Aub,ust, 1931;

AND, WHEREAS, in said Resolution, said City
Council did instruct the Street Superintendent to make cer-
tain modifications and corrections, and return the assessment
as so modified to said City Council for further consideration;
AND, WHEREAS, the Street Superintendent of said
City, pursuant to said instructions in said Resolution No.
259 contained, did make the modifications and corrections
in said Resolution No. 259 contained and did return the
assessment so modified to said City Council for further
consideration-,
NOV[, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
E1 Segundo, California, does hereby resolve, declare and
determine as follows:
SECTION 1. That the written protests, appeals
and /or objections heretofore filed with the City Clerk by
John Hague, Enos Roe, F. S. Kadletz, Receiver,Anna B. Markoff,
A. G. Blair, 0. H. Barber, Vd. G. Henry, L. S. Turner, Vim.
Gaydos, Frank Bosano, and all written protests, appeals
and/or objections of whatsoever kind and by whomsoever made
against the assessment and /or the nark or improvement of a
portion of Imps rial Highway ( formerly Collingwood Street)
within the City of El Segundo and within the City of Los
Angeles, California, as described in Resolution of Intention
No. 243 of said Council, passed and adopted on the 13th day
of August, 1931,be, and the same are hereby overruled and
denied as being without merit.
SECTION 2. That the said City Council is satisfied
with the correctness of the said assessment, as modified,
and as filed by the Street Superintendent of the City of
E1 Segundo, pursuant to instructions of said City Council
given in Resolution No. 259 of said City, entitled:

ASSESSIENT FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF CERTAIN

AS COLLINGVIOCD STREET) A PUBLIC HIGHWAY WITHIN
THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO AND WITHIN THE CITY OF
LOS ANGELES AS DESCRIBED IN RESOLUTION OF
INTENTION NO. 243 PASSED AND ADOPTED ON THE
13TH DAY OF AUGUST, A. D., 1931. ",
and that the said assessment as so modified and filed by
said Street Superintendent, be, and the same is hereby
approved and confirmed by this Council as correct in all
part icul are .
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to
the passage and adoption of this resolution; shall cause
the some to be entered in the book of resolutions of said
city, and shall make a minute of the adoption thereof in
the records of the City Council of said city in the minutes
of the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted.
Passed, approved and adopted this 13th day of

I, Victor D. McCarthy, City Clerk of the City
of E1 Segundo, California, do hereby certify that the
whole number of members of the City Council of the said
City is five; that the foregoing resolution, being
Resolution No. 260, was passed and adopted by the said
City Council, approved and signed by the Mayor of said
city, and attested by the City Clerk of said city, all at
a regular meeting of the said Council held on the 13th
day of July, A. D., 19320 and that the same was so passed
and adopted by the following vote:
Aye a: Councilmen Gerow, Krimmel, Selby amd Mayor Binder,
Noes: Councilmen None.
Absent: Councilman Love.
