CC RESOLUTION 255RESOLUTION N0. 255 , A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, CALLING AND GIVING NOTICE OF THE HOLDING OF A GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD IN SAID CITY ON MONDAY, THE 11T11 DAY OF APRIL, 1932s FOR THE ELECTION OF CERTAIN MUNICIPAL OFFICERS OF SAID CITY. BE IT RESOLVED AND DETERMINED by the City Council of the City of El Segundo, California, as follows: SECTION 1. That there shall be held in the City of El Segundo, County of Los Angeles, State of California, on Monday, the 11th day of April, 1932, a general municipal election of the qualified electors of the said city for the purpose of electingthreemembers of the City Council of the said city for the fall term of four years, a City Clert of said city for the full term of four years and a City Treasurer for the full term of four years. SECTION 2. That the ballots to be used at said election shall be, both as to form and matter contained therein, such as may be required by law to be used thereat, and the City Clerk of said city is hereby instructed, directed and authorized to give notice of said election in the time, form and manner as required by law; and said City Clerk is hereby further instructed, directed and authorized to procure all supplies that may be necessary to properly and lawfully conduct said general municipal election. 1- dr- 1-l!. i.s T SECTION 3. That for the purpose of holding said general municipal election there shall be three voting precincts within the said city, consisting of a consolidation of the regular voting px ecincts established for holding general state and county elections, as follows: Consolidated Voting Precinct "A" shall be known as such, and shall include all of the territory in the City of E1 Segundo, California, within the exterior boundaries of E1 Segundo City Precinct No. 1 and El Segundo City Precinct No. 2, as now established by the Board of Sup®rvisore of Los Ange lea County, California, for state and county elections, and the said exterior boundaries fo aping the exterior boundaries of the terri- tory included within said E1 Segundo City Precincts Nos. 1 and 2 so established by said Board of Supervisors, shall be and constitute, and the same are hereby designated as the exterior boundaries of said Consolidated Voting Precinct "A ", said E1 Segundo City Precincts Nos. 1 an d 2 being hereby consolidated for the purpose of holding said election. That the polling place in said Consolidated Voting Precinct "A" shall be in the Auditorium of the E1 Segundo Grammar School located on the north side of Mariposa Avenue between Richmond Street amd Virginia Street in said city, and the board of election to conduct the said election in said Consolidated Voting Precinct "A" shall be and the same is hereby appointed as follows: Inspector: __ _rahn_R._Black Judge: 'tobert L. Consolidated Voting Precinct "B" shall be known as such, and shall include all of the territory in the City of E1 Segundo, California, within the exterior boundaries of E1 Segundo City Precinct No. 3 and E1 Segundo City Precinct No. 4, as now established by the Board of Supervisors of Los Angeles County, California, for state and county elections, and the said exterior boundaries forming the exterior boundaries of the territory included within said E1 Segundo City Precincts Nos. 3 and 4 no established by said Board of Supervisors, shall be and constitute, and the same are hereby designated as the exterior boundaries of said Consolidated Voting Precinct 'B ", said El Segundo ©ity Precincts Nos. 3 and 4 being hereby consolidated for the purpose of holding said election. SECTION 6. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution; shall enter the same in the Book of Resolutions of the said City of E1 Segundo; shall make a minute of the passage and adoption thereof in the records of the meeting of the City Council of said city at which the same was passed and adopted; shall cause the same to be pub- lished two times consecutively before the day of said election in the El Segundo Herald, a weekly newspaper of general circulation, printed, published sad circulated in said city, and which is hereby designated for that purpose; and shall conspicuously post a printed copy of this resolution for at least one week during the period preceding the date of such election in three public places, to -wit: one such copy on the official bulletin board at the City Hall in said city; one such copy on the official bulletin board at the United States Poet Office in said city; sn d one such copy on the bulletin board near the main entrance of the Standard Oil Company refinery within the said city.
