The Board of Trustees of the City of F1 Segundo,
California, do resolve, declare and determine as follows;
That the work or improvement of a certain portion
of Valley Avenue; a certain portion of Pine Avenue; and a
certain portion of Holly Avenue, within the said city, all
as the same is contemplated, set ierth and fully described
in Resolution of Intention No. 144 of the Board of Trustees
of the said city, on file in the office of the City Clerk
thereof, and which is hereby referred to for further par-
ticulars, having heretofore been regularly ordered by said
Board of Trustees; and radvertisement for bids having been
duly had; and said Board of Trustees having in open public
session on the let day of October, A. l., 1926, opened,
examined and publicly declared all sealed proposals or
bids oftered for said work; and the said Board having
on said let day of October, 1926, taken the matter of
bids for said work under advisement until the hour of
7:20 o'clock P. 1 ;,. of the 8th day of October, 1926;
AND, 'JHER:aS, said hour of 7:20 orclock P. L.
the 8th day of October, 1926, has now arrived, and the
said Board has duly considered all of said bids for said
work;
NOV71 THEREFORE, the said Board of Trustees

hereby finds that the lowest regular responsible
bidder for said work hereinabove mentioned is 'Warren
A. Elsterman, of Hermosa Beach, California, and said
Board hereby rejects all of the said bids for said
work, except that of said `Darren A. b,lsterman, and
hereby awards the contract for said work to said fiarren
A. Elsterman, of Hermosa Beach, California, at the
prices specified in his proposal on file for said work,

Grading and preparing sub -grade
complete, per square foot ..........0.015
Curb, per lineal foot of Curb ..... 0.50
Sidewalk, per square foot
of Sidewalk ........................0.175
The Clark of the said Board of Trustees is
hereby directed to post notice of this award as required
by law, and also to publish such notice of award by two
successive insertions in the :.1 Segundo Herald, a weekly
newspaper, printed, published and circulated in said
City of IzU Segundo, which is hereby designated for said
purpose.
Passed, approved and adopted this 8th day of
October, A. L., 1926.

of the said Board, held on the 8th day of October, 1926,
