SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING THUS IM1,1TION OF SAID
BOARD TO CZOSE UP, VACATE AND ABANDON FOR PUBLIC STREET
PURPOSES, A CERTAIN PORTION OF EUMLYPTUS DRIVE; A CERTAIN
PORTION OF PAM AVENUE; A CERTAIN PORTION OF STANDARD
STREET; A CERTAIN PORTION OF ME, PUBLIC ALLEY LYING SOUTH-
ERLY OF PATm1 AVENUE, AND EAT IMING EASTERLY THROUGH BLOCK
EIGHTY- SEVEN, OF EL SEGUNDO, SHL+ET N0. 3, AS PER MAP RE-
CORDED IN MAP BOOK 20 AT PAGES 22 -and 23 OF MAPS, RECORDS
OF LOS ANGETZS COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, FROId ST'NDA_RD STREET;
THAT CERTAIN PUBLIC ALLEY LYING SOUTHERLY OF PALM AVENUE
AND EXTENDING WESTERLY THROUGH BLACK 86, AS PER SAID MAP,
FROK THE WESTERLY LINE OF STANDARD STRI.ET TO THE EASTERLY
LINE OF MAIN STREET; THAT CERTAIN PUBLIC ALLEY LYING
SOUTHERLY OF PA29 AVENUE AND EXTENDING WESTERLY FROM THE
WESTERLY LINE OF MAIN STREET TO THE EASTERLY LINE OF RICHMOND
STREET THROUGH BLACK 85 AS PER SAID MAP; THAT CERTAIN PUBLIC
ALLEY LYING EASTERLY OF RICH&:OND STREET, ARM EXTEMDING NORTH -
MLY FROM THE NORTHERLY LINE OF MARIPOSA AVENUE THROUGH BLOCK
85, AS PER S1 ID MAP, TO THE, SOUTHERLY LINE OF THAT CERTAIN
PUBIC ALLEY LYING SOUTHERLY OF PALM AVENUE IN SAID BLACK 85,
RECORDED AS AFORESAID; THAT CERTAIN PUBLIC ALLEf LYING
EASTERDY OF LAIN STRT43T AND EXTIMI)ING NORTHERLY THROUGH
BLOCK 86 AS PER SAID MAP, FROM THE NORTHERLY LINE OF MARIPOSA
AVENUE TO THE SOUTHERLY LINE OF THAT CERTAIN PUBLIC ALLEY
LYING SOUTHERLY OF PALM AVENUE IN SAID BLOCK 66, RECORDED
AS AFORESAID; ALL WITHIN THE SAID CITY.
The Board of Trustees of the City of E1 Segundo,
California, does resolve, declare and determine as follows;
SECTION 1. That the public interest and convenience
require that there be closed up, vacated and abandoned for
Public street and alley purposes, and the said Board of

Trustees does hereby declare its intention to close up,
vacate and abandon for public street and alley purposes,
all of those certain portions of those certain public streets
and alleys within the said City described as follows, to -wit
All of that certain portion of Eucalyptus Drive
lying between the easterly projection of the northerly line
of that certain public alley running easterly and westerly
through Block 87, and the easterly projection of the north-
erly line of Lot 10, Block 94; also all of that portion of
Palm Avenue lying between the easterly line of Main Street
and the northerly projection of the westerly line of Arena
Street; also all of that portion of Standard Street lying
between the northerly line of Mariposa Avenue and the south-
erly line of Palm Avenue: also all of that certain portion
of that certain public alley running easterly and westerly
through Block 87, to -wit:- The portion of said alley lying
between the easterly line of Standard Street and the north-
erly projection of the westerly line of that certain public
alley running northerly and southerly through said Block 87;
also all of that certain public alley running easterly and
westerly through Block 86, between the easterly line of Main
Street and the westerly line of Standard Street; also all
of that certain public alley running northerly and southerly
through said Block 86 from the northerly line of Mariposa
Avenue to the southerly line of the public alley running
easterly and westerly through said Block 86; also all of
that certain public alley running easterly and westerly
through Block 85, and extending from the easterly line of
Richmond Street to the westerly line of Main Street; and
also all of that certain public alley running northerly and
southerly through said Block 85 from the northerly line of
Mariposa Avenue to the southerly line of the public alley
running easterly and westerly through said Block 85,-
" all as all of said streets and alleys are shown upon that

certain map of El Segundo Sheet No. 3, recorded in Book
20, at Pages 22 and 23 of Maps, Records of Los Angeles
County, California, on file in the office of the County
Recorder of said County.
It is hereby declared to be the purpose and in-
tentioii of the said Board of Trustees by these proceedings
to vacate and abandon for public street purposes all of
said hereinabove described portions of said public streets
and alleys.
SECTION 2. That the exterior boundaries of the
district to be affected by said work or improvement and to
be assessed to pay the damages, costs and expenses thereof,
if any, are hereby described as follows: All of that real
property within the City of E1 Segundo, California, included
within the following described boundary line, to -wit:
Beginning at the southwesterly corner of Lot 12,
Block 85, B1 Segundo Sheet No. 3, as recorded in Book 20,
Pages 22 -23 of Maps, Records of Loa Angeles County, Califor-
nia, and on file in the County Recorder's office of said
County; said corner being also the point of intersection
of the northerly line of Mariposa Avenue with the easterly
line of Richmond Street within said City, as said streets
are shown upon said map, thence northerly along the easterly
line of Richmond Street and the projection of said line
across that certain alley running easterly and westerly
through said Block 85 to the northwesterly corner of Lot 6, in said
Block 85, as per said map above referred to; thence east-
erly along the southerly line of Palm Avenue and its projec-
tion across Main Street within said City to the northwesterly
corner of Lot 6, Block 86, as per said map above referred to;
thence northerly along the easterly line of Main Street and
its projection across Palm Avenue to a point 300 feet north-
erly of the southerly line of Lot 6, Block 94, as per said

map above referred to; thence easterly along a line 300
feet northerly of and parallel with the northerly line of
Palm Avenue to the point of intersection of said parallel
line with the westerly line of Lot 10 of said Block 94, as
per said map above referred to; thence northerly along the
westerly line of said Lot 10, Block 94, to the northwest-
erly corner of said Lot 10, Block 94, as per said map above
referred to; thence easterly along the northerly line of
said Lot 10, Block 94, and along the easterly projection
of said northerly line across Eucalyptus Drive and along the
northerly line of Lot 6, Block 93, and along the northerly
lines of Logs 7 and S. Block 93, as per said map above referr-
ed to, to a point on the northerly line of said Lot 8, Block
93, 31.94 feet easterly of the westerly line of said Lot 8,
Block 93, as per said map above referred to; thence south-
erly in a straight line to the northeasterly corner of Lot
1, Block 88, as per said map above referred to; thence
southerly along the easterly line of said Lot It Block 88, to
the southeasterly corner of said Lot 1, Block 88, as per said
map above referred to; thence westerly along the southerly
lines of Lots 1, 2, 3, 49 6 and 6 of said Block 88, as per
said map above referred to, to the southwesterly corner of
said Lot 6, Block 88, as per said map above referred to;
thence westerly in a straight line to the southeasterly
corner of Lot 1, Block 87, as per said map above referred
to; thence westerly along the southerly lines of Lots 1,
20 3 amd 4 of said Block 87, as per said map above referred
to, to the intersection of said last mentioned course with
the northerly projection of the easterly line of Lot 7 of
said Block 879 as per said map above referred to; thence
southerly along the said northerly projection of the said
easterly line of said Lot 7, Block 87, and along the east-
erly lines of Lots 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 of said Block 87,
to the southeasterly corner of said Lot 12, of said Block 87,

as per said map above referred to; thence westerly
in a straight line to the point of beginning.
There is excepted from the above district all
portions of all public streets and alleys within the above
described boundary of said district.
SECTION 3. The Street Superintendent of the said
City of El Segundo, is hereby directed to cause notices
of the passage of this resolution to be published in the
places, in the form and manner and within the time required
by law, and also to cause a notice similar in substance to
be published as required by law in the "E1 Segundo Herald ",
a weekly newspaper printed, published and circulated within
the said City of E1 Segundo, which said "E1 Segundo Herald"
is hereby designated as the newspaper in which notice shall
be published.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the
passage and adoption of this resolution; shall cause the
same to be entered in the Book of Resolutions of said City,
and shall make a minute of the passage and adoption thereof
in the records of the proceedings of the Board of Trustees
of said City, in the minutes of the meeting at which the
same is passed and adopted.

intention, being Resolution of Intention No. 126, was
passed and adopted by the said Board of Trustees, approved
and signed by the President of said Board, and attested
adjqurned
by the City Clerk of said City, all at en /regular meeting
of the said Board held on the f day of February, 1926,
and that the same was so passed and adopted by the follow-
ing vote:
