A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA,
CONFIRMING THE AS3ESS]1ENT FOR THL WORK
OR IMPROVEMENT OF CERTAIN PORTIONS OF
VIRGINIA STREET,,WHITING STREET, BONITA VISTA
AVENUE, MAPLE AVENUE, MARIPOSA AVENUE AND
PALM AVENUE, WITHIN THE SAID CITY, AS
PROVIDED FOR BY RESOLUTION OF INTENTION
NO. 790 PASSED AND ADOPTED ON THE 7TH
DAY OF NOVEMBER, A. D., 1924.
WHEREAS, on the 28th day of May, A. D., 1925,
the Street Superintendent of the City of E1 Segundo, Cali-
fornia in the manner provided by law, duly made and filed
with the City Clerk of said City, the assessment for the
work or improvement of Virginia Street, Whiting Street, Bonita
Vista Avenue, Maple Avenue, Mariposa Avenue and Palm Avenue,
within the said City, as provided for by Resolution of
Intention No. 79;
AND, WHEREAS, upon the filing of such assessment,
said City Clerk did cause notice of the filing of the same
to be given by posting, publishing and mailing in time,
form and manner as required by law, and did in said notice
fix Friday the 19th day of June, 1925, at the hour of eight
o'clock P. M. in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said
City, as the ti^ie and place for the hearing of said matter;
AND, THEREAS, at the time of said hearing no
appeal or objection of any kind had been made or filed, or
was made or filed, to the said assessment, or any matter
connected therewith;
NOVI, THEREFORE, the Board of Trustees of the City
of E1 Segundo, California, do resolve, declare and determine
as follows:

SECTION 1. That the said Board is satisfied with
the correctness of the said assessment, filed with the
City Clerk of the City of E1 Segundo, California, on the
28th day of May, A. D., 1925, for the work or improvement
of certain portions of Virginia Street, Whiting Street,
Bonita Vista Avenue, Mapel Avenue, Mariposa Avenue and Palm
Avenue, as provided for by Resolution of Intention No. 79,
passed and adopted on the 7th day of November, 1924, and
that the said assessment be and the same is hereby approved
and confirmed by this Board, as correct in all particulars.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the
passage and adoption of this resolution, shall enter the
same in the Book of Resolutions of said City of E1 Segundo,
and shall make a minute of the adoption thereof in the
records of the Board of Trustees of said City in the
minutes of the meeting at which the same is passed and
adopted.
Passed, approved and adopted this 19th day of
June, A. D., 1925.

the whole number of members of the Board of Trustees
of the said City is five; that the foregoing resolution,
being Resolution No. 96 , was passed and adopted by
the said Board of Trustees, approved and signed by the
President of said Board, and attested by the City Clerk
of said City, all at a regular meeting of the said Board
held on the 19 day of June , 1925, and that
the same was so passed and adopted by the following
vote:
