A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING
ITS INTENTION TO PURCHASE, ON BEHALF OF THE
SAID CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CERTAIN IMPROVEMENT
BONDS, ISSUED FOR THE LAYING OUT AND OPENING
OF SYCAMORE AVENUE AS ORDERED BY ORDINANCE
NO. 113 OF SAID CITY, OF THE AGGREGATE PAR
VALUE OF $ 3,480.00 AND DIRECTING THE CITY
TREASURER OF SAID CITY TO TRANSFER THE SUM
OF $ 3,480.00 FRO_Ttf THE GENERAL FUND OF THE
CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, TO THE SYCAMORE AVENUE
OPENING FUND, AS PAYMENT THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, on the 27th day of February, A. D.,
1925, Ordinance No. 113 of the City of E1 Segundo, Cali-
fornia, was duly passed and adopted, and
WHEREAS, Section 7 of said Ordinance provides
for the issuance of improvement bonds to represent any
and all assessments amounting to $50.00 or over, made
to pay the costs and expenses of the laying out and open-
ing of a certain new public street within the said City,
to be known as Sycamore Avenue, to a width of fifty (50)
feet, bet,veen the westerly line of Main Street, and a line
drawn parallel to the west boundary of the City of E1 Segundo,
California, and(a distant 298.75 feet, measured at right
angles, easterly therefrom, and
WHEREAS, Improvement Bonds of
the aggregate par value of � 3,480.00
were issued as provided by said "Section 7" of said Ordi-
nance No. 113, and by the provisions of the "Street Opening
Bond Act of 192111, and
WHEREAS, it is the desire and intention of the
City of E1 Segundo and of the Board of Trustees thereof

that the said City of E1 Segundo advance to the Sycamore
Avenue Opening Fund the par value of all of said bonds,
to wit: the sum of 13,480.00 from the general
fund of the said City of E1 Segundo, California.
NOW, THEiEFORE, the Board of Trustees of the
City of E1 Segundo, California, do hereby resolve, declare
and determine as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City of E1 Segundo, Cali-
fornia, purchase all of the Improvement Bonds issued under
and by virtue of the provisions of Resolution of Intention
No. 84 and Ordinance No. 113 of said City of E1 Segundo,
for the aggregate par value thereof, to wit: $3,480.00
and that the said sum of $3,480.00 be paid out of the
general fund into the Sycamore Avenue Opening Fund in
payment therefor.
SECTION 2. That the City Treasurer of the City
of E1 Segundo, be and she is hereby authorized and directed
to transfer from the General Fund of the City of E1 Segundo
the sum of $3,480.00 to the Sycamore Avenue Opening Fund
and to receive and hold as the property of the City of
E1 Segundo the Improvement Bonds issued as aforesaid.
SECTION 3. That hereafter the said City of E1
Segundo shall be the owner and holder of said bonds and shall
have the same rights in respect to the enforcement and col-
lection thereof as any other purchaser until such time as
said City shall sell same as provided by law, or until the
same are redeemed.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the
passage and adoption of this resolution, shall record the
same in the book of resolutions of said City, and shall
cause a minute of the passage thereof to be entered in the
Minutes of the Board of Trustees of the said City of
E1 Segundo, California, of the meeting at which the same
was passed and adopted.

of E1 Segundo, California, do hereby certify that the
foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 105
was passed, approved and adopted by the Board of Trustees of
the City of E1 Segundo, California, signed by the president
of said Board, and attested by the City Clerk of said City,
all at a regular meeting of the said Board, held on the
8th day of September, 1925, and that the same was so
passed, approved and adopted by the following vote:
