RESOLUTION NO. 69
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE. CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA,
AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR THE IMPROVE-
MENT OF CERTAIN PORTIONS OF MAPLE AVENUE,
WITHIN SAID CITY, AS PROVIIED FOR BY
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 61.
The Board of Trustees of the City of Inglewood,
California, do resolve, declare and determim as follows;
That the work or improvement of certain portions
of Maple Avenue, within the said City, all as the same is
contemplated, set forth and fully described in Resolution
of Intention No. 61 of the Board of Trustees of said City,
on file in the office of the City Clerk thereof, and which
is hereby referred to for further particulars, having been
heretofore regularly ordered by said Board of Trustees;
and advertisements for bids having been duly had; and said
Board of Trustees having in open, public session on the
8th day of January, A. D. 1924, opened, examined and public-
ly declared all sealed proposals or bids offered for said
work; and the said Board having on said 8th day of January
1924, duly considered all of said bids, the said Board
hereby finds that the lowest regular responsible bidder
for said work is C. W. Sparks, and said Board hereby re-
�ects all of the said bids for said work, except that of
said C. W. Sparks, and hereby awards the contract for said
work to said C. W. Sparks, the lowest regular responsible
bidder therefor, at the prices specified in his proposal
on file for said work, to -wit:
Grading and preparing sub -
grade, per sgmare foot . 0.02 1/2
Curb, per lineal foot . 0.70
1-
Sidewalk, per aquare foot
of sidewalk . . . . . . . . . . . $ 0.23
Maoadamizing, per square foot. . . 0.16
The Clerk of said Board of Trustees is hereby
directed to post notice of this award as required by law,
and also to publish such notice of award by two successive
insertions in the E1 Segundo Herald, a weekly newspaper,
Printed, published and circulated in said City of E1
Segundo, and hereby designated for said purpose.

the said Board of Trustees, approved and signed by the
President of said Board, and attested by the City Clerk
of said City, all at a regalar meeting of the said Board
held on the 8th day of January, 1924, and that the same
was so passed and adopted by the following vote:
