WHEREAS, the board of Trustees of the City of E1 Segundo, California, did, on the 18th day of September, 1923, pass its Resolution of Intention No. 63 to order the improvement of Tvlain Street within said City, under and in pursuance of the "Improvement Act of 191111, the location and character of Said proposed work and the extent thereof being described in said Resolution of Intention No. 63, which is hereby expressly referred to for further particulars, the same being on file in the office of the City -lerk of the said City and open to public inspection; AND WHEREAS, owners of property liable to be assessed for said work or improvement made written protests or objections to this Board within the time and at the place set for hearing objections to the proposed work or improvement; AND WHEREAS, on the 9th day of October, 1923, at the time set for hearing protests or objections against the said work or against the extent of the district proposed to be assessed to pay the costs and expenses thereof, the said Board of Trustees proceeded to hear the same and to hear and consider arguments adduced by and on behalf of the protestants and objectors; aND WH-R EAS, said hearing was upon said date by said Board of Trustees duly and regularly adjourned until the day of ;- , 1923; AND WHEREAS, said time has now arrived and all of said protests or objections have been fully read, heard and duly considered and said Board is required to pass upon the same; NOW, '1HERL'FORE, it is hereby RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees of the City of E1 Segundo, California, that all of the protests and objections received against said proposed work or improvement, be and the same are hereby overruled and denied. ,JM BE IT BUPTHEP =ESCLVED that all of the protests and objections against the extent of the proposed assessment district be and the same are hereby overruled and denied. ,'J'D B:S IT FURTHEF RESOLVED that said Board finds that said protests and objections are made by the owners of less than one -half of the area of the property to be assessed for said improvements.
