CC RESOLUTION 48RESOLUTION OF INTENTION 10. 48 , A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CAL- IFORNIA, DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE SAID BOARD TO CHANGE AND MODIFY THE GRADE OF A PORTION OF PALM AVENUE t1 THIN THE SAID CITY, AND TO RE- ESTABLISH THE SOUTH- ERLY CURB LINE THEREON. The Board of Trustees of the City of El Segundo, California, do resolve, declare and determine as follows: SECTION ONE. That it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of the City of E1 Segundo, California, to ohange and modify the grade of that certain public street named and known as Palm Avenue, within the said City, between the easterly line of Virginia Street and the westerly line of Richmond Street, in accordance with the following elevations: 1. At a point in the southerly line of Palm Avenue, where it intersects the easterly line of Virginia Street, the grade shall be 69.00 feet. 2. At a point in the southerly line of Palm Avenue, 67.86 feet easterly from the easterly line of Virginia Street, the grade shall be 74.30 feet. 3. At a point in the southerly line of Palm Avenue, 357.14 feet westerly from the westerly line of Richmond Street, the grade shall be 93.88 feet. 1. f5�'S 4. At a point in the southerly line of Palm Avenue, 332.14 Peet westerly from the westerly line of Richmond Street, the grade shall be 95.90 feet. 5. At a point in the southerly line of Palm Avenue, 307.14 feet westerly from the west- erly line of Richmond Street, the grade shall be 97.58 feet. 6. At a point in the southerly line of Palm Avenue, 282.14 feet westerly from the west- erly line of Richmond Street, the grade shall be 99.00 feet. 7. At a point in the southerly line of Palm Avenue, 251.14 feet westerly from the west- arty line of Richmond Street, the grade shall be 100.02 feet. 8. At a point in the southerly line of Palm Avenue, 232.14 feet westerly from the west- erly line of Richmond Street, the grade shall be 100.95 feet. 9. At a point in the southerly line of Palm Avenue, 207.14 feet westerly from the west- erly line of Richmond Street, the grade shall be 101.62 feet. 10. At a point in the southerly line of Palm Avenue, 182914 feet westerly from the west- erly line of Richmond Street, the grade shall be 102.00 feet. 2. 11. At a point in the southerly line Of Palm Avenue, 157.14 feet westerly from the west- erly lime of Richmond Street, the grade shall be 102.06 feet. 12• At a point in the southerly line of Palm Avenue, 132.14 feet westerly from the west- Orly line of Richmond Street, the grade shall be 101.80 feOt. 13. At a point in the southerly line Of Palm Avenue, 107.14 feet westerly from the west- Orly lime of Richmond Street, the grade shall be 101.80 feet. 14. At a point in the southerly line of Palm Avenue, 82.14 feet westerly from the west- Orly line of Richmond Street, the grade shall be 100.50 feet. 15. At a point in the southerly line of Palm Avenue, 57.14 feet westerly from the west- Orly line of Richmond Street, the grade shall be 99.30 feet. 16. At a point im the southerly line of Palm Avenus, where it intersects the westerly line Of Richmond Street, the grade shall be 95.80 feet. Blevatione are in feet and above the City Datum Plane and refer to the top of the curb at the point where a line drawn at a right argle to the center line of Palm Avenue from each point mentioned intersects 3. the curb. At all points between the said described Points on the southerly side of Palm Avenue the grade shall conform to a straight line between the said points. SECTION TWO. That it is the intention of the said Board to re- establish the southerly curb line of said Palm Avenue, between the easterly line Of Virginia Street and the westerly line of Richmond Street, at a distance of 15 feet, measured at right angles southerly from and parallel with the center line of said Palm Avenue. SECTION THREE. That the proceedings for the aforesaid change of grade shall be taken under the "Change of Grade Act of 1909." and the Street Superintendent of the City of E1 Segundo, California, shall cause notice of the passage of this Resolution to be posted in the manner provided by law, and said Street Superintendent shall also cause a notice sim- ilar in substance to be published by two insertions in the E1 Segundo Herald, a weekly newspaper of gen- eral circulation, printed, published and circulated within the said City, and hereby designated for that purpose. SECTION POLM. The City Clerk shall cert- ify to the passage and adoption of this Realution; shall cause the same to be published by two inser- tions in the said El Segundo Herald, and shall post the same conspicuously for two days on or near the Council Chamber door; and thereupon and thereafter it shall take effect and be in full force. 4. 9' i ( " f_ I11.
