CC RESOLUTION 23RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING THEIR INTENTION TO CLOSE UP, VACATE AND ABANDON FOR PUBLIC STREET PURPOSES, A PORTION OF CONCORD STREET WITHIN THE SAID CITY. BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees of the City of E1 Segundo as follows: Section 1. That the public interests and convenience require that there be closed up, vacated and abandoned, for public street purposes, and the said Board of Trustees does hereby declare its intention to close up, vacate and abandon for public street purposes, the following portion of Concord Street within the said City of E1 Segundo, County of Los Angeles, State of California, to -wit: All that portion of Concord Street lying between the northerly line of Mariposa Avenue and the southerly line of Palm Avenue, as said street and avenues are shown upon Sheet 3 of El Segundo on map recorded in map book 20, pages 22 and 23 of Maps, records of Los Angeles County, California, on file in the office of the County Recorder of said County. The purpose of these proceedings is to vacate and abandon for public street purposes, the said portion of Concord Street hereinabove referred to, but no part of any intersecting street or alley is to be vacated by these proceedings. Section 2. That the exterior boundaries of the districts to be affected by said work of improvement and to be assessed to J� pay the damages, costs and expenses thereof, if any, are described and the said district is hereby fixed as follows: 41 b ,� �n Beginning at the Northeast corner of Block 84 as shown upon Sheet 3 of E1 Segundo, recorded in Map Book 20, pages 22 and 23 of Maps, records of Los Angeles County, California, on file in the office of the County Recorder of said county; thence westerly along the southerly line of Palm Avenue, as the same is shown upon the said Sheet 3 of El Segundo, to the Northwest corner of Block 83 as shown upon said Sheet 3 of E1 Segundo; thence southerly along the easterly line of Virginia Street as the same is shown upon said Sheet 3 of El Segundo, to the southwest corner of said block 83; thence easterly along the northerly line of Mariposa Avenue, as the same is shown upon said Sheet 3 of E1 Segundo, to the southeast corner of the above mentioned block 84; thence northerly along the westerly line of Richmond Street as the same is shown upon said Sheet 3 of E1 Segundo to the point of beginning. Section 3. The Superintendent of Streets of the City of E1 Segundo is directed to cause notice of the passage of this resolution to be posted at the places and in the manner required by law, and also to cause notice similar in substance to be published as required by law in the E1 Segundo Herald, a weekly newspaper of general circulation printed, published and circulated in the said City of El Segundo and hereby designated for that purpose. Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution, shall cause the same to be entered in the Book of Resolutions of the City of E1 Segundo, and shall make a Minute of the passage thereof in the record of the meeting of the Board of Trustees at which the same is passed and adopted.
