1997 DEC 16 CC MINMINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING OF THE EL SEGUNDO CITY COUNCIL Tuesday, December 16, 1997 - 5:00 P.M. CALL TO ORDER Mayor Jacobs at 5:00 P.M. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE - Councilwoman Jane Friedkin ROLL CALL Mayor Jacobs - Present Mayor ProTem Wernick - Present Councilman Gordon - Present Councilman Weston - Present arrived at 5:15 P.M. Councilwoman Friedkin - Present PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS - (Related to City Business Only - 5 minute limit per person, 30 minute limit total.) Individuals who have received value of $50 or more to communicate to the City Council on behalf of another, and employees speaking on behayof their employer, must so identify themselves prior to addressing the City Council Failure to do so shall be a misdemeanor and punishable by a fine of $250. NONE MOVED by Mayor ProTem Wernick SECONDED by Councilwoman Friedkin to discus and take possible action on an urgency matter that arose after the posting of the agenda regarding Government Code Section 54956.9(b). MOTION PASSED BY THE FOLLOWING VOICE VOTE. AYES: MAYOR JACOBS, MAYOR PROTEM WERNICK, COUNCILMAN GORDON, AND COUNCILWOMAN FRIEDKIN. NOES: NONE.
