1996 OCT 15 CC MINMINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING OF THE EL SEGUNDO CITY COUNCIL October 15, 1996 - 5:00 P.M. CALLED TO ORDER at 5:03 p.m. by Mayor Jacobs. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE led by Mayor Pro Tern Wemick ROLL CALL Mayor Jacobs Present Mayor ProTem Wemick Present Councilwoman Friedkin Present (Arrived at 5:10 p.m.) Councilman Weston Absent Councilman Gordon Present PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS - (Related to City Business Only - 5 minute limit per person, 30 minute limit total.) Individuals who have received value of $50 or more to communicate to the City Council on behalf of another, and employees speaking on behayof their employer, must so identify themselves prior to addressing the City Council Failure to do so shall be a misdemeanor and punishable by a fine of $250. One Individual addressed the City Council. Gerhardt VanDrie, resident spoke about the Hyperion matter and the pipeline request, and suggested the possibility of using the gas from the pipeline for uses within El Segundo, stated several other suggestions for the project. Mayor Jacobs closed public communications. MOVED by Mayor Jacobs; SECONDED by Councilman Gordon to discuss the Case Glauser vs. City of El Segundo Case #1NG96C01297 which arose after the posting of the agenda.
