1996 DEC 17 CC MINMINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING OF THE EL SEGUNDO CITY COUNCIL December 17, 1996 - 5:00 P.M. CALLED TO ORDER by Mayor Jacobs at 5:00 p.m. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE led by Councilman Mike Gordon ROLL CALL Mayor Jacobs Mayor ProTem Wemick Councilwoman Friedkin Councilman Weston Councilman Gordon Present Present Present Present (arrived at 5:15 p.m.) Present PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS - (Related to City Business Only - 5 minute limit per person, 30 minute limit total.) Individuals who have received value of $50 or more to communicate to the City Council on behalf' of another, and employees speaking on behalf' of their employer, must so identify themselves prior to addressing the City Council Failure to do so shall be a misdemeanor and punishable by a fine of $250. NONE City Attorney Hensley asked the Council to vote on adding an item to the agenda. MOVED by Mayor ProTem Atemick; SECONDED by Councilwoman Friedkin to add one item under §54956.9 (c) to the agenda. MOTION PASSED BY THE FOLLOWING VOICE VOTE 4- 0-1: AYES: Mayor Jacobs, Mayor ProTem Wemick, Councilwoman Friedkin and Councilman Gordon. NOES: None. ABSENT: Councilman Weston.
