1990 JUL 03 CC MINACTION MINUTES EL SEGUNDO CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING JULY 3,1990 1. Approved and adopted Resolution No. 3639 for an eight unit townhouse condominium project at 121 -123 West Palm Avenue 2 Adopted Ordinance No. 1154 - amending Section 10.20.010 of Chapter 10.20 of Title 10 of the Municipal Code regarding Heavy Vehicle trips 3. Adopted Resolution No. 3641 for limited and temporary authority to expend funds of the city pending approval of the 1990 -91 City budget 4. Action: seat the committees as assigned. 5. Accepted donation of $10,000 from Trudy Smith to be used for the Joslyn Center. 6. Adopted reclassification of the hazardous materials specialist position in the Fire Department to the Environmental Safety Coordinator, new pay range and safety classification. 7 Adopted Resolution No. 3640 for the Public Works Mutual Aid Agreement with the Counties of Los Angeles and Orange and other cities and counties as they become signatory. 8. Adopted Ordinance No. 1153, amending the Municipal Code to establish a Relocation Appeals Board pursuant to Section 33417.5 of the Health & Safety Code. Ordinance is of no further force and effect six months after effective date. 9. Allocate an additional appropriation of $19,000 for the Capital Improvement Budget and awarded contract for the subject project - PW -89 -8 - Candy Lane Park. 10. Adopted Resolution No. 3332 relating to fixing a period of limitations for the filing of actions pursuant to Section 1094 6, California Code of Civil Procedures. 11. Resolution No. 3645 not received from Planning - adopted and approved - Resolution of Environmental Assessment 231 (EA -231) 12 Reappointed Elizabeth Kennedy to the Planning Commission. 13. Consensus of Council to research the feasibility of taking money from redevelopment and putting it into Federal Housing. Staff directed to research. 14 Mayor ProTem Dannen would contact Los Angeles County Council to set up date for the residents to speak. Collect names of interested residents to ascertain if full busload could be achieved. 15. Action: Did not refer item to the Planning Commission. Councilmembers Wise and West dissented. 16. Action. Announced appointments to the Senior Citizens Housing Board: Chris Sherrill, Peter Freeman, Paul Lawson and Darryl Burch.
