Mayor Protein Dannen MOVED, Councilman Clutter SECONDED, to direct staff to
report back to Council at the October 4, 1988 City Council Meeting on
verbiage changes within the Utility User Tax as it relates to elimination of
exemptions. MOTION CARRIED BY AN UMWDIOUS VOICE VOTE.
Council recessed at 8:25 PM and reconvened with all answering roll call at
8:40 PM.
Jerry Saunders, President of the El Segundo Chamber of Commerce, requested
that an outside consultant be Toyed to assist in making long range
financial plans and goals for the City.
CLOSED SESSICNS
Pursuant to the California Government Code a Closed Session will be
held on the following matters: None
Council adjourned at 9:45 FM to Tuesday, September 6, 1988 6:00 PM for a
Joint Meeting with the Planning Commission.
