SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS
Major Siadek requested legal advice from the City Attorney on going to
Sacramento on behalf of the City to support Senate Bills 407 and 339. City
Attorney Dolley stated this would be discussed in Closed Session.
City Manager Jones reminded Council that E1 Segundo is not in the same
position as Charter Cities, and expressed we should make all possible
efforts to state our City's position on the subject bills.
City Attorney Dolley stated pursuant to GC 454956.9 a Closed Session would
be held on the following matters:
Subsection (a) El Segundo vs Board of Airport Comissions
Subsection (b) One matter
CLOSED SESSION
Council adjourned to the Mayor's Office for Closed Session at 6:02 P.M.
At 7:28 PM Council reconvened in the Council Chambers with all members
answering roll call.
City Attorney Dolley announced that Council had not taken any action,
however, they will continue to consider options against the Airport.
