MINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING
OF THE EL SEGUNDO CITY COUNCIL
October 4, 1983
I CALL TO ORDER
The E1 Segundo City Council convened in an adjourned
regular session on Tuesday, October 4, 1983 at 6:30
p.m., in the Council Chamber of the E1 Segundo City
Hall. The Deputy City Clerk reported that a NOTICE OF
ADJOURNMENT had been posted as required by law and that
a declaration of posting was in the office's file.
II PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE was led by Councilman Armstrong.
III ROLL CALL
Present: Council Members Armstrong, Siadek,
Synadinos and Mayor Bue
Absent: Councilman Johnson
IV The Mayor announced that Gary Lantner had tendered his
resignation from the Planning Commission and that this
meeting had been scheduled to discuss filling the
vacancy for the balance of Mr. Lantner's term, which
expires June 30, 1986.
At the hour of 6:33 p.m, the Council moved to the West
Conference Room, where discussion of various applicants
was held.
MOTION WAS THEN MADE BY COUNCILMAN SIADEK, SECONDED BY
COUNCILMAN ARMSTRONG that Marsha Stewart be appointed
"-; to serve Gary Lantner's unexpired term on the Planning
Commission. THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY (Councilman
Johnson absent).
Thereafter, at the hour of 6:39 p.m. the Council re-
turned to the Council Chamber where Mayor Bue announced
Marsha Stewart's appointment to the Planning Commission.
V ADJOURNMENT
No further business appearing to come before the Council
at this session, the Mayor declared the meeting
adjourned, the hour of adjournment being 6:40 p.m.
