OF THE F.L SEGUNDO CITY COUNCIL
July 16, 1981
1. CALL TO ORDER
The El Segundo City Council convened in adjourned regular sess=ion on
Thursday July 16, 1981, at 6:00 o'clock p.m., in the Council Chamber
j of the El Segundo City Eall. The City Clerk reported that a Notice
of :djeurnment had been posted as required by law and that an affidavit
of posting was in her file.
2. PLE CE OF ALLEGIANCE:
7',e ledge to the Flag ...as led by Mayor Richard Van Vranken.

Siadek and Mayor Van Vranken

4. The Mayor ar__cL -c that the term of office of one Planning Commissioner
:could expire = ?;L_e 30, 1981, and the purpose of this meeting was to
interview t:e -= - had made application to serve on this commission

The :Mayor advised that applications had also been received from the
incu—mbent Don ,'cLees and 1•1r. Ray Miller, both of whom had advised
they would be unable to appear tonight because of out of town business.
Council agreed that attempts would be made to interview each of these
applicants prior to making a selection, possibly within six to eight
weeks.
5. ADJOURN4!E"-T
No other business appearing to come before the Council at this session,
the mayor ordered the meeting adjourned until July 21, 1981 at the hour'
of 6:30 o'clock p.m., for the purpose of interviewing I -fr. Ray Miller;
the hour of adjournment of this meeting being 9 :20 o'clock p.m.
