There is no doubt that it would be beauti-
fully designed and constructed and with the
proposed landscaping it would present a
prettier picture than a conglomerate collection
of light manufacturing shacks.
The added. revenue it would bring to the City
and its merchants certainly needs no further
elaboration.
From the point of prestige alone it should be,
given all the cooperation in our power. Any
city in the United States would be thrilled
to get an installation of this character and
it would make E1 Segundo practically the avia-

The City of El Segundo is situated in the heart
of the aviation industry and next to one of
the largest airports in the world. Not to
capitalize on this asset seems to be foolish
if not downright stupid.
Any traffic problems that might result from
the said building most certainly can be worked
out and any person possessing even the smallest
degree of fairness will be forced to admit that

Tlie Honorable City Courioil r
City of E1 Segundo
California
then tbemen :
I understand that the City Planning
Commission has turned down the application
,by North American for the rezoning of
property on Imperial Highway just west of
Sepulveda Blvd.
An improvement of the type contemplated
by North American would be a definite asset
to our city. It would undoubtedly carry a
good portion of the tax load which would help
stabilize taxes for all of us -- residential
and industry alike.
I certainly recommend that the City
Council permit the rezoning of this property.
Yours truly,
FARR COMPANY
