Public Safety Commissioner Baker, reporting in the matter of the construction of a cross -walk on srand Avenue at the westerly side of wIiting Street, stated he and Chief of Police DeBerry had ;made an investigation of the need thereof, were of the opinion same should be constructed at said location, and that as soon as men are available, to Street Dept will cause such cross -walk to be painted.
