An adjourned regular meeting of the City Council of the City of El
Segundo, California, was held-in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of
said City on the above date, having been called to order at 7:30 o'clock
P. M. by William R. Selby, Mayor.

Selby.
Councilmen Absent: None.
READING OF MINUTES OF PLtEVIOUS MEET1NU. ,
The minutes of the regular meeting held on the 26th day of September,
1946, having been read and no errors or omissions having been noted, it
was moved by Councilman Peterson, seconded by Councilman Thompson, the
minutes of said meeting be approved as recorded. Carried.
WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONNS.

hereinafter named, were read to the Council and were disposed of in the manner
indicated, following reference to each, as follows:
PISS rir.RRIET Le.'ATLER, dated September 30, 10,46, requesting that Whiting
Street, between Holly Avenue and Grand Avenue, be zoned for two - family
residences. By general consent said letter was tabled for consideration
at the public hearing on zoning matters to be held following this meeting.
KEITH M. AMDERSON and 38 others, dated August ?0, 1946, a petition
requesting that property in Blocks 74 and 75, fronting on Main Street, _
in the City of El Segundo be zoned for business. By general consent said
petition was taken under advisement for consideration at the public
hearing to be held later on this date.

There appearing to be no further business to be transacted at this
meeting, tj¢e Mayor announced that it would be in order to adjourn this meeting,
as the Council expected to hold the public hearing on the proposed land use plan
(zoning ordinance).of the City immediately following adjournment of this meeting.
It was.thereupon moved by Councilmen Peterson, seconded by Councilman
Skelley, the meeting adjourn. Carried.
