1945 APR 23 CC MINQ 941 CONSENT TO SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO , C!�LIFORNIA, AND V"AIVER OF NOTICE. We, the undersigned, being all of the members of the City Council of the City of El Segundo, California, do hereby con- sent and agree that,a special meeting of said Council shall be-held in the Council Chamber in the City.Hall of said City, beginning at the hour of 4:10 o'clock P. M. on Monday, the 23rd day of April, 1945 for the purpose of acting upon the application of 111 & L' House Moving Co. to move a one story frame building through the City of E1 Segundo on Tuesday, the 24th day of April, 1945, said building to be routed southerly on Sepulveda Boulevard from Imperial Highway to Rosecrans Avenue; and transacting such other business pertinent to the foregoing as may come before it. We hereby waive any further, other, or additional notice of the time and place of said meeting and consent that same be held at the time and place above stated. April 23, 1945. A special meeting of the City Council of the City of El Segundo, California, was called to order at 4:10 o'clock P. M. on the above date, in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City, by 'illiam R. Selby, 1,'ayor, pursuant to the foregoing Consent and Waiver of Notice. ROLL CALL. Councilmen Present: Hesser, Skelley, Thompson and Mayor Selby. Councilmen Absent: Peterson. The City Clerk read to the Council the application of M & M House Yoving Co., dated April 23, 1945, for a permit to move a one story frame building. through the City of E1 Segundo, on April 24, 1945, said ouiidirg to be routed southerly on Sepulveda Boulevard, from Imperial 'S c- "n -Tay to Rosecrans 5venae. Said C .1 Clerk reported all deposits had been made and fees paid in connection with said application, whereupon it was moved by Councilman Hesser, seconded by Councilman Skelley, the following resolution be adopted: R SOL- ED, that M. & ni House Moving Co. be and it is hereby granted a permit to move a one story frame building through the City of El Segundo, along Sepulveda Boulevard, from the -North to the South City Limits, final destination being at a point outside of the City of El Segundo. Said removal shall take place on April 24, 1945, at or about the hour of 9:00 A. M. Permittee shall notify the Police Department of the commencement of his operations not less than thirty minutes prior thereto, so as to permit said Department to afford traffic protection during such removal operation and the work otherwise shall be prosecuted and completed to the satisfaction of the Street Superintendent of the City of E1 Segundo. The foregoing resolution was adopted by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmen Hesser, Skelley, Thompson and Mayor Selby. Noes: Councilmen None. Absent: Councilman Peterson. No further business appearing to be transacted at this meeting, it was moved by Councilman Hesser, seconded by Councilman Thompson, the meeting adjourn. Carried.
