An adjourned regular meeting of the City Council of the City of E1
Segundo, California, was held in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of
said City, on the above date, having been called to order at 4:15 P. M.
by Peter E. Binder, Mayor.
ROLL CALL.

Councilmen Absent: Gerow and Hesser.
Moved by Councilman Selby, seconded by- Councilman Peterson, "that the
regular order of business be dispensed with. Carried.

Moved by Councilman,Selby, seconded by Councilman Peterson, the
demands be allowed and warrants ordered drawn on and paid out of the
rgispective funds covering the same. Carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Peterson, Selby and Mayor Love.
Noes: Councilmen None.
Absent: Councilmen Gerow and Hesser.
Moved by Councilman Selby, seconded by Councilman Peterson, that
the City Clerk be authorized and directed to immediately open an,
escrow
for the purchase, from the owners thereof, of Lots 6 and 7, Block 67,
E1 Segundo, at a price of $200.00 each, provided said owners can deliver
title to the same to the City of El Segundo, free and clear of encumbrance,
except a reservation to the present owners of all oil and mineral rights
in said properties and except conditions, restrictions, reservations and
rights of way, common to other property owners in said block, and will
deliver to said City a policy of Title Insurance Company, to be issued by
some reputable title insurance company of Los Angeles County, showing the
property free and clear in the City of E1 Segundo except for the ex-
ceptiona hereinbefore mentioned, said City to pay one -half of the escrow
fee in connection with said purchase. Carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Peterson, Selby and Mayor Love.
Noes:. Councilmen None.
Absent: Councilmen Gerow and'Hesser.
No further business appearing to be transacted at this meeting,
it was moved by Councilman Selby, seconded by Councilman Peterson, the
meeting adjourn. Carried.
