An adjourned regular meeting of the City Council of the City of E1 Segundo, California, was held in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City, on the above date, having been called to order at 3:30 o'clock P. M. by George Love, Mayor. ROLL CALL. Councilmen Present: Hesse, Peterson, Selby and Mayor Love. Councilmen Absent: Gerow. By general consent the regular order•of business was dispensed with. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmen Hesser, Peterson, Selby and Mayor Love. Noes: Councilmen None. Absent: Councilman Gerow. J. C. Holland, having made application for a house moving permit, the same having been found in order, with requisite fees and deposits paid to the City Clerk, it was moved by Councilman Hesser, seconded by Councilman Selby, that J. C. Holland be and he is hereby granted permission to move through the City of E1 Segundo, a one story frame dwelling house,*on or about the 6th day of January, 1943, beginning at or about the hour of 9:00 A. M., subject to the following conditions and provisions: 1. That said building wild be routed easterly along Imperial Highway, from a point between tenter Street and Sepulveda Boulevard, within the City of El Segundo; thence southerly on Sepulveda Boulevard to E1 Segundo Boulevard; thence easterly on E1 Segundo Boulevard to and beyond the easterly city limits. 2. That in the course of such removal, the procedure she'll under the supervision of the Street Superintendent of the City of El Segundo and such removal shall be accomplished to the satisfaction of said Street Superintendent. 3. That as.reiiards the-iandling-of traffic on the highways during such removal, this matter shall be under the supervision of the Police Department of the City of E1 Segundo, and the permittee is instructed to notify said Police Department at least thirty minutes in advance of-the-hour at which he proposes to move the structure into the public streets of the City of E1 Segundo. The foregoing motion was carried by the following vote, to -wit: Ayes: Councilmen Hesser,*Peterson, Selby'and Mayor Love, Noes: Councilmen None. Absent: Councilman Gerow. No further business appearing to be transacted at this meeting, it ,was moved by Councilman Selby, seconded by Councilman Peterson, the meeting adjourn. Carried.
