In connection with the request of the Trustees of El Segundo
Unified School District that the Council abandon for public street purposes
that portion of Richmond Street, lying between Palm Avenue and Mariposa
Avenue, it was moved by Councilman Love, seconded by Councilman Selby,
that the City Attorney be and he is hereby authorized and directed to
prepare for presentation to this Council and its further action, such
legal proceedings as may be necessary to accomplish such abandonment.
