2:228- N WHEREAS, the territory within the said boundaries above described does not include the whole or any part of any other district formed for similar purposes. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, that unanimous consent be given to the annexation of that portion of the City of El Segundo above described, to County Sanitation District No. 5 of Los Angeles County under the provisions of the County Sanitation District Act, approved May 29, 1925, as amended;.and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution by the City Council of the City of El Segundo and transmit copies thereof to the Board of Supervisors of Los Angeles County and to the Board of Directors of County Sanitation District No. 5 of Los Angeles County." Said resolution was adopted by the following vote, to -wit: Ayes: Councilmen Gerow, Hesser, Dove, Selby and Mayor Binder. Noesl Councilmen None. Absent: Councilmen None. The Clerk then read to the Council the letter of The Ohio Oil Company, dated November 27th, 1936, requesting a permit to construct, operate and maintain an oil well in a certain-- portion of Section 7, Township 3 South, Range 14 West, S. B. B. & N. within the City of El Segundo, said well to be known as "Gough No. 2 ". After consideration,, it was moved by Councilman Love, seconded by Councilman Hesser, that Resolution No. 349, entitled: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, GRANTING TO THE OHIO OIL COMPANY A PERMIT FOR THAT CERTAIN OIL WELL IN SAID CITY DESIGNATED AND KNOWN AS t} "GOUGH NO. 28 , which was read, be adopted. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmen Gerow, Hesser, Lave, Selby and Mayor Binder. Noes: Councilmen None. Absent: Councilmen None. r.> No further business appearing to be transacted at this meeting, it was moved by Councilman Selby, seconded by Councilman Gerow, that the meeting adjourn. Carried.
