1936 APR 22 CC MINEl Segundo, California. April 22nd, 1936. A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of El Segundo, California, was called to order at 7 :00 o'clock-P. M. on the above date., in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City, by Peter E. Binder, Mayor. � ROLL CALL. Councilmen Present: Gerow, Hesser, Love, Selby and Mayor Binder. Councilmen Absent: None. READING OF '."INUPES OF PREVIOUS MEETINGS. The minutes of the regular meeting held on the 15th day of April, 1936, and of the adjourned regular meetings held on the 16th and 20th day of April, 1936, were reed, without error or.omissions appearing, and said minutes were approved as read upon motion of Councilman Selby, seconded by Councilman Love, which carried. WRITTEN COWW; IC ATIONS. The following communications were read and disposed of as indicated: CALIFORNIA COOPERATIVE UNIT NO. 259, dated April 17th, 1936, offering to mow the growth on vacant properties within the City and rake the same at a price of $2.00 per acre. Ordered filed. P�EPORTS OF STANDING COT.TITTEES. None. ... REPORTS OF OFFICERS AND SPECIAL CO=TEES. Councilman Hesser stated that he would like the Council to give consideration to a more effective method of traffic control on Sepulveda Boulevard within the City of El Segundo. After brief discussion of the matter, it was decided by common consent to take the same under advisement and discuss it further at the next regular meeting of the Council. None. UNFINISHED BUSINESS. SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS. The matter of the consideration of all of the bids received February 7th, 1936, for f arnishing all of the labor, materials and services necessary for the construction of a library building in and for the City of E1 Segundo, having been continued from a previous meeting to this hour this date, the Mayor announced that the Council would now proceed with such consideration. It appearing desirable to again postpone a decision;.it was moved. by Councilman Selby, seconded by Coimcilman,Hesser, that -all of the bids received'February 7th, 1936, for furnishing all of the labor, materials and services required to construct and complete a library building in and for the City of E1 Segundo be taken under further advisement until the hour of 7 :15 o'clock P. Y., April 29th, 1936. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmen Gerow, Hesser, Love, Selby and Mayor Binder. Noes: Councilmen None. Absent: Councilmen None. NEW BUSINESS.
