1936 APR 16 CC MINEl Segundo, California. April 16, 1936. An adjourned regular meeting of the City Council of the City of El Segundo, California, was called to order at 4:30 o'clock P. M. on the above date, in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City, by Peter E. Binder, Mayor. ROLL CALL. Councilmen Present: Gerow, Love, Selby and Mayor Binder. Councilmen Absent: Hesser. ' "owed by Councilman Love, seconded by Councilman Selby, that the regular order of business be dispensed with. Carried. WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS. The following communications were read and disposed of as indicated: LFAGUE OF CALIFOMIIA MUNICIPALITIES, Bulletin No. 9, dated April llth, 19EC, referring to several matters of importance to municipalities of the State of California and requesting information as to a City of E1 Segundo Traffic Safety Organization personnel, as well as inquiring whether or not the Council vrould designate one of its members to receive League bulletins to insure that the matter therein contained would be brought to the attention of the Council. By general consent the Clerk was instructed to advise said League that the City of E1 Segundo has no Traffic Safety Organization at the present time, but that the Council is considering the appointment of one and would advise later of its membership; also that inasmuch as it is the practice of the City Clerk of the City of E1 Segundo to present to the Council all communications of an official nature received by him, it is unnecessary for this Council to designate one of its members to receive copies of League bulletins.
