1935 JUN 03 CC MIN208 -lUf\ w E1 Segundo, California. June 3rd, 1935. An adjourned regular meeting of the City Council of the City of El Segundo, California, was called to order at 4:15 o'clock P. M. on the above date, in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City, by the City Clerk, the Mayor bein- absent. Councilman Selby was unanimously chosen Mayor pro tem and he immediately assumed the duties of the Mayor. ROLL CALL. Councilmen Present: Gerow, Hesser, Love and Selby. Councilmen Absent: Binder. Moved by Councilman Gerow, seconded by Councilman Selby, that the regular order of business be dispensed with. Carried. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmen Gerow, Hesser, Love and Selby. Noes: Councilmen None. Absent: Councilman Binder. Moved by Councilman Gerow, seconded by Councilman Love, that the following resolution be adopted: 1ATiEREAS, in the improvement of Sepulveda Boulevard (Arizona Drive) within the City of E1 Segundo, a sum in excess of the amount hereinafter mentioned was advanced from the General Fund of said City for the payment of incidental expenses and preliminary costs; and WHEREAS., there is available in "Act of 1927 M. I. D. No. 1 Fund" a sum which may be used to partially reimburse the General Fund for advances heretofore made as aforesaid; NOR' THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Clerk of the City of El Segundo and the City Treasurer thereof be and they are hereby authorized to transfer from said Act of 1927 IM.I. D. No. 1 Fund of said City the sum of $2426.98 and to make proper record thereof in their respective books of account. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmen Gerow, Hesser, Love and Selby. Noes: Councilmen None. Absent: Councilman Binder. No further business appearing to be transacted at this meeting, it was moved by Councilman Hesser, seconded by Councilman Love, that the meeting adjourn. Carried.
