M. on the above date, in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City, by Peter E. Binder, Mayor. ROLL CALL. Councilmen Present: Hesser, Love and Mayor Binder. Councilmen Absent: Gerow and Selby. Moved by Councilman Love, seconded by Councilman Hesser, that the regular order of business be dispensed with. Carried. M -149 Moved by Councilman Love, seconded by Councilman Hesser, that the City Clerk and the City Engineer be and they are hereby authorized and directed to prepare a report for submission to this Council at the next regular meeting thereof, if possible, respecting a work and salary schedule for municipal employees, which may be used by this Council as a guide in fixing hours of employment and rates of pay for all municipal employees, comparable so far as possible, with hours and rates of pay paid by Standard Oil Company to its employees in corresponding positions.
