An adjourned regular meeting of the City Council of the City of E1
Segundo, California, was called to order at 4:15 otclock P. M. on the
above date, in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City, by
Peter E. Binder, Mayor.
ROLL CALL.
Councilmen Present: Hesser, Love and Mayor Binder.
Councilmen Absent: Gerow and Selby.
Moved by Councilman Love, seconded by Councilman Hesser, that the regular
order of business be dispensed with. Carried.

Moved by Councilman Love, seconded by Councilman Hesser, that the
City Clerk and the City Engineer be and they are hereby authorized
and directed to prepare a report for submission to this Council at
the next regular meeting thereof, if possible, respecting a work and
salary schedule for municipal employees, which may be used by this
Council as a guide in fixing hours of employment and rates of pay for
all municipal employees, comparable so far as possible, with hours
and rates of pay paid by Standard Oil Company to its employees in
corresponding positions. Carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Hesser, Love and Mayor Binder.
Noes: Councilmen None.
Absent: Councilmen Gerow and Selby.
No further business appearing to be transacted at this meeting,
it was moved by Councilman Hesser, seconded by Councilman Love, that
the meeting adjourn. Carried.
