November 7th, 1934.
A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of El Segundo,
California, was called to order at 7:00 o'clock P. M. on the above date, in
the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City, by Peter E. Binder, Mayor.
ROLL CALL.
Councilmen Present: Gerow, Hesser, Love, Selby and Mayor Binder.
Councilmen Absent: None.
READING OF TdINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING.
The minutes of the regular meeting held on the 31st day of October,
1954, were read. No errors or omissions appearing, it was moved by Councilman
Love, seconded by Councilman Gerow, that the minutes be approved as read.
Carried.
WRITTEN C01,11UNICATIONS.
The following communications were read and disposed of as indicated:
CALIFOR?IIA MUNICIPAL UTILITIEZ ASSOCIATION, dated October 20th, 1934,
urging that this City subscribe for the services of said organization.

REPORTS OF STANDING COMP.4ITTEES.
REPORTS OF OFFICERS AND SPECIAL CO18TITTEES.
The City Attorney, reporting with respect to the Memorandum of Agreement
for Maintenance and Construction, Route 60, in the City of E1 Segundo, submitted
to this City by Department of Public Works of the State of California, and
referred to the Attorney for opinion, stated that the Agreement is in proper
le -al form, but the provisions thereof are matters for the Council to determine.
Thereafter the City Clerk read to the Council the agreement in its
entirety, at the conclusion of which it was moved by Councilman Hesser, seconded
by Councilman Selby, that the Mayor of the City of El Segundo, in the name of
said City and on its behalf, be and he is hereby authorized and directed to
execute that certain Memorandum of Agreement for Maintenance and Construction,
Route 60, in the City of El Segundo, which provides for the maintenance, until
June 30th, 1935, of Sepulveda Boulevard, between the Northerly and Southerly
City Limits of said City of E1 Segundo; for the installation of an automatic
wigwag signal, traffic flashers, the painting of four lane traffic stripes and
the construction of concrete curbs, all in said Sepulveda Boulevard, and that
the City Clerk be authorized to attest the same and to foward copies of said
agreement to the Department of Public Works of the State of California, for
execution by the proper officers of said Department, and upon return to him of
one copy of said Agreement, executed by all proper officials, to file said copy
in his office. Carried by-the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Gerow, Hesser, Love, Selby and 11ayor Binder.
Noes: Councilmen None.
Absent: Councilmen None.

No further business appearing to be transacted at this meeting, it was
moved by Councilman Gerow, seconded by Councilman Selby, that the meeting
adjourn. Carried.
