The Superintendent of the iiater Department read to the Council a letter he had received from Pauline Scholz, a property o•rrner of the City of E1 Segundo, respecting that certain Rule of the Water Depart- ment requiring the payment of a minimum monthly charge for water services furnished properties where two or more families reside in- dependently of each other. The subject matter of the communication was given consideration by the Council and the City Clerk was instructed to advise :,rs. Scholz that the matter of Rules and Rates of E1 Segundo +ater Department mill again be investigated by the Council and amended, if practicable, pending which action existing Rules and Rates must apply. . The Street Superintendent reported that since the date of the last meeting of this Council, one of the City's trucks had collided with a pleasure car, the property of E. S. Crum=, causing damage estimated at ,;5.50. By general consent, the Council directed that a report thereof be..made to the City's Insurance Carrier. None. None. U:uFINI'SrZD SUSMSS. PAYING BILLS. City Clerk reported that E1 Segundo Progressive Democratic Club had made application for permission to use the Council Chamber of the City Hall on the evening of March 30th, 1934, for the purpose of holding a meeting, and by general consent, this permission was granted. No further business appearing to be transacted at this meeting, it was moved by Councilman Selby, seconded by Councilman Cerow, that the meeting adjourn. Motion carried.
