A renular meeting of the City Council of the City of El Segundo,
California, was called to order at 7:00 o'clock P. ,% on the above date, in
the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City, by Peter E. Linder, Mlayor.

Councilmen Present: Gerow, Hesser, Love, Selby and Mayor Binder.
Councilmen Absent: None.
READING OF P;;INUTES OF PREEV"IOUS PIELTING.
The minutes of the regular meeting held on the 19th day of December,
1934, were read. No errors or omissions appearing, it was moved by Councilman
Loge, seconded by Councilman Selby, that the minutes be approved as read.
Carried.
WRITTEN COITNI UNICATIONS.

Mr. P. Mahone-uT, dated December 19th, 1934, requestin r permission to
ooera.te P. lunch stand or lunch wagon in a portion of one of the. nul,lic streets
adjacent to Northro:; Corporation's Airplane factory. Discussion was had
and the applicant, who was present at the Council meetin~, was advised to
obtain the written consent of Northrop Corporation to the maintenance of a
lunch stand in the public street adjacent to its property and to more definitely
fix the location for the proposed stand, and to reapply to the Council, at
w.'ch time his application will be given further consideration.
REPORTS OF STA''DING CO'NiTITTFES.
Councilman Gerow of the Public Works Committee, reported t'ne discovery
of a leaky gas main in East I:aple Avenue, adjacent to his premises and
recommended that the matter be called to the attention ofSbuthern California
Gas Comp =.ny. The Street Superintendent reported that a representative of said
Gas Company would be in E1 Segundo on Thursday, Decem -)er 27th, for the purpose
of investigating the matter.
REPORTS OF OFFICERS AND SPECIAL COILMITTEES.
The It- y Treasurer-, through the City Clerk, reported a shortage of
X19.69 in the Oak Avenue Bond Interest and Redemption Fund; whereupon it was
moved by Councilman Selby, seconded by Councilman Love, that the sum of
119.69 be transferred from the General Fund to the Oak Avenue Bond Interest
and Redemption Fund, as an advancement to said Fund and that the City Clerk
and the City Treasurer of the City of E1 Segundo be authorized to make
annrooriate entries in their books of record. Carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Gerow, Hesser, Love, Selby and 1111ayor Binder.
Noes: Councilmen None.
Absent: Councilmen None.
No further business appearing to be transacted at this meeting, it was
moved by Councilman Selby, seconded by Councilman Gerow, that the meeting adjourn.
