A regular meeting of the City Council/ the City of E1 Segundo, California,
was called to order at 7:00 o'clock P. M. on the above date, in the Council Chamber
of the City Hall of said City, by Peter E. Binder, Mayor.
ROLL CALL.
Councilman Present: Gerow, Hesser and Mayor Binder.
Councilmen Absent: Love and Selby.
READING OF kINUTES OF PREVIOUS IMETING.
The minutes of the regular meeting held on the 25th day of July, 1934,
were read. No errors or omissions appearing, it was moved by Councilman Gerow,
seconded by Councilman Hesser, that the minutes be approved as read. Carried.
KITTEN COIaML NICATIONS.
The following communications were read and disposed of as indicated:
H. C. S=, M. D., District Health Officer, dated July 25th, 1934,
reporting as to the activities of the Department of Health of the County of
Los Angeles, within the City of El Segundo, as health officer of said City during
the month of June, 1934. Ordered filed.
CALIFORNIA I„UNICIPAL UTILITIES ASSOCIATION, requesting the attendance of
one or more representatives of the City of '-El Segundo at the annual meeting of
said Association, to be held in Pasadena, California, September 24th and 25th,
1934, and inviting the City of El Segundo to subscribe for membership in said
Association. Ordered filed.

Calvary Church be and it is hereby granted permission to use the City hall Auditorium
durinZ forenoons on Sundays at the rate of 410.00 per month, beginninC August 5th,
1934, provided, however, that the permission' hereby granted I s'subject.to revocation
at any time in the discretion of the City Council of said City, and it is also subject
to the prior right of the public to use the said auditorium. Carried by the following
vote:

F:lsey be and she is hereby granted her customary annual two weeks vacation,
between August 6th, 1934 and August 27th, 1934, as the vacation time customarily
allowed municipal employees may be most conveniently arranged between said dates
by the City Clerk to meet the stenographic and clerical requirements of his office.
