A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of El Segundo,
California, was called to order at 7:00 o'clock P. Me on the above date,
in the Council chamber of the City Lall of said City, by Peter E. Binder,

The minutes of the regular meeting held on the 25th day of October,
1933, were read. No errors or omissions appearing, it was moved by
Councilman Selb7.,, seconded by Councilman DeroV, that the minutes be
approved as read. Carried.

The following co=runications were read and disposed of as indicated:

advisin of a meeting to be held at .= untington Park, California, Thursday,
iVove:mber 9th, 1933, at 6:30 o'clock P. L:., for the purpose of discussing,
certain proposed Los Angeles County charter amendments, and inviting the
Uity officials and representatives of civic or,,, izations of the City of
El Se =;undo to attend. the t.:a•sor announced that he mould attend the session
and the communication was ordered filed.

Lessrs. A. Cendo, .._ike xoncevich and L:areo Zivalic, each addressed the
Council, requesting that he be employed by-the City, and each was advised
to make an effort to obtain employment elsewhere and in event of failure,to
get in touch with the Street Superintendent. .

The Chief of Police announced the revocation of the appointment of
C. I. Hendrix as a Special Police Officer.
The Clerk inquired whether or not it was the desire of the Council
to have canvas hoods placed over the electric light reflectors at the baseball
grounds and on motion of Councilman serous, seconded by Councilman Selby,
which carried unanir:�usly, he was instructed to cause this to be done.
The Uity - lttorney reported that certain reimbursement agreements
between the City of E1 ;3e,-undo and certain utilities, whose facilities it will
be necessar :,- to relocate by reason of the improvement of Arizona Drive within
the :%ity of El Segundo, have been approved by his office as to form and by thB
office of the City Engineer as to substance and subject matter, and he thereupon
proceeded to and did read the form of agreement between the City of E 1 Segundo
and the atandard Oil Company of California. nt the conclusion of the reading
of said agreement, it was moved by Councilmen Selby, seconded by Layor Binder,

and Southern California Edison Company; whereupon it was moved by Councilman

The City Attorney* then read the form of agreement between the City of

Reporting with respect to the adoption of a resolution by this Council,
autportinr- the application of the City of Hermosa 3each for allocation of
gas tax funds of the State of California, to be used in connection with the
pro_)osed improvement of Gould Lane, lying-, between the cities of I.-nosa Beach
and Manhattan 3-each, which said matter was referred to him at a regular meeting
of this Council held September 27th, 1933, the Layor advised that he has
learned that the cooperation asked for has been granted and that therefore no
action need be taken by this Council.
