1933 NOV 01 CC MINEl Segundo, California. November 1, 1933. A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of El Segundo, California, was called to order at 7:00 o'clock P. Me on the above date, in the Council chamber of the City Lall of said City, by Peter E. Binder, L:ayor. EOLL CIM., Councilmen Present: Gerow, Selby and Layor Binder. No errors or omissions appearing, it was moved by Councilman Selb7.,, seconded by Councilman DeroV, that the minutes be approved as read. Carried. ; I ,I COL:'UNICATIONS. L:., for the purpose of discussing, certain proposed Los Angeles County charter amendments, and inviting the Uity officials and representatives of civic or,,, izations of the City of El Se =;undo to attend. the t.:a•sor announced that he mould attend the session and the communication was ordered filed. The Chief of Police announced the revocation of the appointment of C. I. Hendrix as a Special Police Officer. The Clerk inquired whether or not it was the desire of the Council to have canvas hoods placed over the electric light reflectors at the baseball grounds and on motion of Councilman serous, seconded by Councilman Selby, which carried unanir:�usly, he was instructed to cause this to be done. Reporting with respect to the adoption of a resolution by this Council, autportinr- the application of the City of Hermosa 3each for allocation of gas tax funds of the State of California, to be used in connection with the pro_)osed improvement of Gould Lane, lying-, between the cities of I.-nosa Beach and Manhattan 3-each, which said matter was referred to him at a regular meeting of this Council held September 27th, 1933, the Layor advised that he has learned that the cooperation asked for has been granted and that therefore no action need be taken by this Council.
