April 6th, 1932.
A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of E1 Segundo, California,
was called to order at 7:00 o'clock P. M: on the above date, in the Council
Chamber of the Gity Hall of said City, by George Love, Mayor.
ROLL CALL,
Councilmen Present: Gerow, Krimmel, Selby and Mayor Love.
Councilmen Lbsent: Binder.
READING OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETINGS.
The minutes of the regular meeting lield on the 30th day of March, 1932,
were read without error or omission being noted, and were approved as read
upon motion,of Councilman Selby, seconded by Councilman Gerow, which carried.
The minutes of the adjourned regular held on April 4th, 1932, were
read. No errors or omissions appearing; it was moved by Councilman'
Selby, seconded by Councilman Srimmel, that the minutes be approved as
read. Carried.
WRITTEN COM MNICATIONS.
The following communications were read and disposed of as indicated:

P-TE W. GARTLANDUJ of the E1 Segundo Baseball Club, dated April 4th,
1932, advising the Council that a baseball meeting will be held Thursday,
April 7th, at 8:00 o'clock P. M. on the second floor of the personnel
building of the Standard Oil Company and requesting attendance of the council
members. Ordered filed.
EL SEGUNDO LODGE NO. 507, F. & A. M., dated April 6th, 1932,
advising that the 'Thirteenth Annual Observance of Public Schools Week
has been set for the week of April 25th to April 30th, 1932, and inviting
the Council to cooperate and participate in this annual observance of
Public Schools 'leek, and to give the matter all publicity possible.

SAIXEL, BAITER, JR., Chairman of Advertising, E1 Segundo High School,
advising that in advertising the Senior play planned by the E1 Segundo
High School, it is desirable to erect a b,-_nner across Grand Avenue at its
intersection with swain Street. Moved by Councilman Selby, seconded by
Councilman Brimmel, that E1 Segundo High School be and it is hereby granted
permission to erect a banner at the intereaection of Alain Street and Grand
Avenue within the City of E1 Segundo, for the purpose of advertising its
Senior play, provided such advertising banner is erected under the super-
vision of and to the satisfaction of the Street Superintendent of the vity
of E1 Segundo. Carried.

Moved by Councilman Selby, seconded by Councilman Gerow, that the
demands be allowed and warrants drawn on and paid out of the respective
funds covering the same. Carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Gerow, Kritmnel, Selby and Mayor Love.
Noes: None.
Absent: Councilman Binder.
Councilman Binder appeared at the meeting at the meeting at this
point, the hour being 7 :22 o'clock P. M. and he immediately took his
seat at the Council Table.
NEPi BUSINESS.
None.
No further business appearing to be transacted at this meeting,
it was moved by Councilman Gerow, seconded by Councilman Binder, that
the meeting adjourn. Carried.
