June 17th, 1931.
A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of E1 Segundo,
California, was called to order at 7 :00 o'clock P. M. on the above
date, in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City, by
George Love, Mayor.
ROLL CALL.
Councilmen Present: Binder, Gerow, Krimmel and Love.
Councilmen Absent: Selby.
READING OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING.
The minutes of the regular meeting held on the 10th day of June,
1931, were read. No errors or omissions appearing, it was moved by
Councilmen Krimmel, seconded by Councilman Gerow, that the minutes
be approved as read. Carried.
Councilmen Selby appeared during the reading of the minutes of
the previous meeting, the hour being 7 :07 o'clock P. M., and he
immediately took his seat at the Council table.
WRITTEN COMMONICATIONS.
The following communications were read and disposed of as indicated:
H. E. BONNELL AND ASSOCIATES, dated June 12th, 1931, advising that
proposals concerning the audit of the records and accounts of the City
of E1 Segundo for the fiscal year ending June 30th, 1932, had been
filed with the Clerk. Ordered filed.
R. C. HONEYWELL, dated June 13th, 1931, being application for
appointment as Police Officer of the City of E1 Segundo. Ordered filed.
BOULDER DAM ASSOCIATION, dated June 9th, 1931, respecting
Metropolitan Water District. Ordered filed.

UMNISBED BUSIMS.
Reporting pursuant to previous instruction of the Council, the
Chief of Police advised that to comply with the new speed regulations of
the Motor Vehicle Act, two new traffic signs will be required for the
residential district and two for the business district. Thereafter
it was moved by Councilman Krimmel, seconded by Councilman Gerow,
that the, purchase.of two - 25 mile speed limit signs with reflector
.units placed in the numerals and.two 20 mile speed.1iatit signs, be and
the saris fs`hereby authorized, at a total cost of not to*esceed
$33.00. Carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Binder, Gerow, Krimmel, Selby and Love.
Noes: None.
Absent: None.

None.
No further business appearing to be transacted at this meeting, it
was moved by Councilman Binder, seconded by Councilman Gerow, that the meeting
adjourn. Carried.
