A regular meeting of the Citl C�%?�}8i f1f the City of E1 Segundo, California, was called to order /on the a�ove date, in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City, by George Love, Mayor. ROLL CALL, Councilmen Present: Binder, Gerow, Selby and Love. Councilmen Absent: Krimmel. By general consent the reading of the minutes was dispensed with. i`TRI7 * -EN CWTUNICATIONS. The following communications were read and disposed of as indicated: BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, dated July 1st, 1930, respecting resolution of the Council of this City protesting against the drilling of water wells within the boundaries of the City of E1 Segundo by the County of Los Angeles or any other agency; to which was attached a copy of a letter of the County Counsel, dated June 19th, 1930, advising, that the fears of this City are not well founded; also copy of a letter of E. C. Eaton, Chief Engineer, Los Angeles County Flood Control District, advising that said District has no plan, nor have they in contemplation the transportation of underground water from the City of E1 Segundo. Ella Hillard addressed the Council relative to obtaining a hermit for the moving of a certain building into and within the City of E1 Segundo, and at the conclusion of discussion concerning the matter, was advised to file formal application with the City Clerk as required by ordinances of the City of E1 Segundo.
