2J 42 Moved by Councilman Selby, seconded by Councilman Krimmel, that the Chief of Police be and he is hereby authorized to purchase one hundred forms required by law to report to the Crime Commission the nature of felonies committed within a municipality, the total cost of such forms not to exceed the sum of $1.50. Carried by the following voter Ayess Councilmen Noes: None. Absents Councilmen Krimmel, Selby end Love. Binder and Ge row. Moved by Councilman Krimmel, seconded by Councilman Selby, that the purchase of three flexible rubber traffic markers at a cost not to exceed $21.00 be and the same is hereby authorized. Carried by the following vote: Ayess Councilmen Krimmel, Selby and Love. Noes: None. Absent: Councilmen Binder and Gerow. It having been reported to the Council that the mother of Mr. E. Dorgan is dangerously ill at her home in Joplin, Missouri, and that the presence of her son at her sickbed was greatly desired, and it appearing also that in view of the circumstances the City Engineer has given Mr. Morgan permission to leave the City for this purpose and to absent himself from his regular duties, it was moved by Councilman Selby, seconded by Councilman Krimmel, that the action of the City Engineer in permitting Mr. E. Morgan to absent himself from his regular duties in order to attend at the sickbed of his mother in Joplin, Missouri, be and the same is hereby ratified and approved, and that the said E. Morgan be and he is hereby granted two weeks leave of absence, with pay, beginning February 10th, 1930. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmen Krimmel, Selby and Love. Noes: None. Absent: gouncilment Binder and Gerow. Councilman Binder appeared at the meeting at this point, the hour being 8s10 o•clock P. M. and he immediately took his seat at the Council table. The Fire Chief then discussed with the Council the fact that many persons purchased and some of the merchants of the City sell highly inflammable and exploding cleaning fluids, without using properly painted or labeled containers for the some, and that this condition is dangerous to life and property, and be recommended the adoption by the Council of an ord.ininbee regulating the matter. By general consent, therefore, the City Attorney was instructed to prepare an ordinance respecting the same. No further business appearing to be transacted at this session, it was moved by Councilman Binder, seconded by Councilman Selby, that the meeting adjourn until Tuesday, the 18th day of February, 1930, at the hour of 11:40 o•clock A.
