1930 AUG 18 CC MIN637 El Segundo, Califbmia. August 18th, 1930. An adjourned regular meeting of the City Council of the City of El Segundo, California, was called to order at 4s15 o'clock P. M. on the above date, in the Council Chamber of the City Hall by the City Clerk, the Mayor being absent. ROLL CALL. Councilmen Presents Binder, Gerow, Krimmel. Councilmen Ab sent s Love and Selby. Councilman Binder was unanimously chosen Mayor pro -tem and he immediately assumed the duties of the Mayor. Moved by Councilman Gerow, seconded by Councilman Krimmel, that the regular order of business be dispensed with. Carried. A letter from Southern California Edison Company, dated August 14th, 1930, was read, requesting permission to set two poles on the West side of the alley West of Maryland Street. Said application having had the approval of the Street Superintendent, it was moved by Councilman Gerow, seconded by Councilman Krimmel, that Southern California Edison Company be and it is hereby granted permission to set 1 Pole on the W/S of the alley West of Maryland Street, 50 ft. South of the alley South of Grand Ave. 1 Pole on the W/S of the alley West of Maryland Street, 200 ft. South of the alley south of Grand Ave., provided all of said work is prosecuted and completed to the satisfaction of the Street Superintendent of the City of E1 Segundo, Carried.
