October 25th, 1929.
A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of El Segundo,
California, was called to order at 7:00 o'c&ock P.rd. on the above
date, in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City by
George Love, Xayor.
ROLL CALL.
Councilmen Present: Gerow, Krimmel, Selby, Binder and Love.
Councilmen Absent: None.
Moved by Councilman Binder, seconded by Councilman Selby, that
the regular order of business be dispensed with. Carried.
The Clerk then read a letter from the Lea €ue of California
1j unicipalities to the effect that full proceedings of the Convention
of the said League held at Oakland, California, during October,
1929, would be printed and bound in book form, at a cost approximating
$1.00 per copy. It was thereupon moved by Councilman Selby,
seconded by Councilman -6inder that seven booklets, containing the
full proceedings of the Convention of the Lea €_ue of California
Municipalities held at Oakland, California, October 7th to 11th,
1929, be and the same are hereby ordered purchased, at a cost not to
exceed 010.00. Carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Binder, Gerow, Krimmel, Selby and Love.
Noes: None,/
Absent: None.
Councilman Binder introduced Ordinance No. 165, entitled:
AN O'.1DINANCE OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA,
REGULATING THE DISTRIBUTION OF HANDBILLS AND OTHER
P1IVTHLETS, NOTICES AND ADVERTISE SNTS, AND THE POSTING
OF STICIMRS OR OTHER PLAC -kRDS OR I T OTICES WITHIN SAID
CITY, AND R,EPEhLIKG ALL ORDIYANCES .`AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES

which was read.
Moved by Councilman Selby, seconded by Councilman Binder, that the
purchase of a chain pipe cutting machine for the Water Department at
a cost not to exceed X65.00 be and the same is hereby authorized.
Carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Binder, Gerow, Lrimmel, Selby and Love.
Noes: None.
Absent: None.

E1 Se,---,undo Lod € -e No. 507, F. & A. b-, be and it is hereby granted permission
to use the City :call Auditorium on the evening of December 16th, 1929,
the customary rental charge of 13.75 to be made therefor. Carried.
No farther business appearing to be transacted at this meeting-,
it was moved by Councilman Krimmel, seconded by Councilman Gerow, that
the meeting adjourn. Carried.
