_)urchase t--,-n yards of fertilizer from -rank - smith, that in view; of his
reeds for the same and the difficulty in procurin€ it, he vnuld like authority
to make the purchase.
Loved by Councilman Love, seconded by Councilman Selby, that the
purchase of ten yards of fertilizer from Frank Smith at a cost not to exceed
';'15.00 be and the same is hereby authorized. Carried by the following vote:

The Street Superintendent informed the Council that there are approximately
fifteen tons of old automobile parts on the non - combustible rubbish dump, which
should be removed and that he has obtained a price of '1.50 per ton for moving
the serve, which price, in his opinion., is considerably cheaper than the City
could do the work.
I' -oved by Councilman Gerow, seconded by Councilman E-rimmel, that the Street
Superintendent be and he is hereby authorized to cause the ol(ft automobile
fenders and parts to be removed from the car, dump and hauled out of the City
of El Segundo, at a cost not to exceed "25.00. Carried by the follovfin vote:

The City Clerk, reporting pursuant to instruction of the Council riven
under date of October 19th, 1926, advised of c, conference with Yr. ?.:atteson,
representative of the o;. -hers o" the ?isher Subdivision, concerninE the openin ۥ
of a ^ublic street through the said subdivision; that he had learned that the
_.roperty is held in trust by Security Trust & Savings Bank of Los �;eles, and
that i• -r. 1-atteson recommended that the City aatorney of the City of El Segundo
confer with the attorney of said Trust Company, f-;r the purpose of surmounting
certain legal obstacles, which it appears might interfere with the dedication
of a ri €-ht- of -way for street purposes to the City of 71 Segundo. By €eneral
consent, the Clerk was instructed to convey this information to the City nttorney
of the City of El Segundo for such action as said City ..ttornev deerr.s
advisable.
