r special meeting of the City Council of the City -of El Segundo,
was called to order at 4:15 o'clock P. Y. on the above date, in the
Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City, pursuant to call of the
?.-ayor, due notice having been given to each member of the City Council
in the time, form and manner required by law. Peter E. Binder, :.:ayor,
presided.

Councilmen. Present: Krimme1, Love and Binder.
Councilmen•Absent: Gerow and Selby.
loved by Councilman Love, seconded by Councilman Krimmel, that the
regular order of business be dispensed with. Carried.
The Clerk announced that City Judge, Don C. FVgitt, had filed with
him a letter, stating- that during his two weeks absence while on vacation,
beg-inrin, July 9th, 1928, Joseph G. goodie, Justice of the Peace of Redondo
Tovrnship, would act in his place and stead as City Judge. It was thereupon
moved by Councilman Love, seconder by Councilman Krimmel, that the appointment
by City Judge, Don C. lFugitt, of Joseph G. Yoodie, Justice of the Peace of
Redondo Tov✓lship, to substitute for Judge Fu6itt durinE his -two weeks
vacation, beginning- July 9th, 1928, be and the same is hereby approved.
Carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Krimrriel, Love and Binder.
Noes: None.
Absent: Gerow and Selby.
No further business appearing, to be transacted at this meeting, it
was moved by Councilman Love,, seconded by Councilman Krimmel, that the
meeting adjourn. Carried.
