be allowed and warrants drawn on and paid out of the respective funds covering
the same. Carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Gero w, Krimmel and Binder.
Noes: None.

Moved by Councilman Fsimmel, seconded by Councilman Geroz, that Don C.
Fugitt, City Judge, be and he is hereby granted permission to take his

2`_r. P .ntone Soeuto addressed the Council respecting the course to pursue
in order to redeem his.property, Lot 2, Block 105, from the effects of a lien
created by an assessment levied for certain street opening proceedings, under
the urovisions of Resolution of Intention Igo. 154 and Ordinance No. 155 of the
City of N1 Segundo.
He was informed that the law makes no provision for the redemption of the
bond issued to cover the assessment against his property, but that all of the
street opening bonds issued pursuant to -the proceedings heretofore referred to
were purchased by the City and that it is the City's intention to sell, in the
near future, some of these bonds,,at which time 21r. Soeuto will be privileged to
bid.upon the bond covering his premises, and if he is the highest bidder and the
bond is sold to him, he could then deliver it to the City Treasurer for
cancellation, which would have the effect of automatically releasing his property
from the street opening assessment lien.
.No further business appe aring to be transacted at this meeting, it was
moved by Councilman Gero w, seconded by Councilman Krimmel, I that the meeting adjourn.
Carried.
