An adjourned regular meeting of the City Council of the City of E1
Segundo, California, vas called to order at 4:40 o'clock P. M. on the above
date in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City, by Peter E.
Binder, Mayor.
ROLL CALL,
Councilmen Present: Gerow, Love and Binder.
Councilmen Absent: Cannon and Krimmel.
There being no bbjection, the Mayor ordered the regular order of
business dispensed with.
The following demands, having had the approval of the Committee on

Moved by Councilman Love, seconded by Councilman Gerow,- that the demands be
allowed and warrants drawn on and paid out of the respective funds covering the
same. Carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Gerow, Love and Binder.
Noes: None.
Absents Councilmen Cannon and Krimmel.
Discussion was had relative to the acquisition of the one story frame
building, situated at the Northeast corner of Main Street and Mariposa Avenue,
formerly used as the First Methodist Episcopal Church, Ahich might be moved
from its present location to municipal property and converted to'use as a
municipal club room. Following such discussion, it was moved by Councilman
Gerow, seconded by Councilman Love, that the City Clerk of the City of E1
Segundo be and he is hereb- directed to advertise for bids for the removing of
that certain one story frame church building, formerly known as First Methodist
Episcopal Church of E1 Segundo, California, from the Northeast corner of
Main Street and Mariposa Avenue, where the same is now located to a location
on the Westerly side of Richmond Street between Holly and Pine Avenues, within
said city and the City Engineer of the City of E1 Segundo is hereby directed to
prepare full specifications covering all details with reference to the removal
of said structure and file the same in the office of the City Clerk of said
City and designate the same "Specifica.tions' for Removal of Church Building
acquired by City ". Carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Gerow, Love and Binder.
Noes: None.
Absent: Councilmen Cannon and Krimmel.
No further business appearing to be transacted at this meeting, it was :
moved by Councilman Love, seconded by Councilman Gerow, that the meeting
adjourn. Carried.
